So, you say 4 notes was too many? How about 3 notes!
Seriously, I’m not joking, it’s a 3 note blues solo… and to make it even easier, there are no bends.
If you are more of a beginning blues guitar player, today’s your day:
The TAB is in the video, but I also have a PDF OF IT HERE.

Uwaw ! The lesson is captivating , I’m just trying to get hold of one guy I know to tune my guitar up. I must emphasise this, I’m going to try by all means necessary to learn this instrument.
Good idea Griff. Could build on this with some legato.

Thanks for this 3 note lesson. Could you also do a similar lesson but don’t use the shuffle beat?
i really having trouble how to improve my skills in soloing specially in blues…i dont know how to make a solo progression.
Thank you
Great counting lesson..ive been all over the site picking out all of these little gems..lol
Thank you Griff cool little solo, but your t shirt is even cooler, how can and old guy like me acquire one?
This old guy has been on the lookout for some BGU swag..maybe a t-shirt,coffee mug etc..nothing crazy
Great lesson. Love both of your rhythm courses. I think rhythm for lead guitar is the most important course I’ve taken. I’m presently working on your acoustic rhythm course, also excellent. Honestly, I wish I started with these two courses. Thanks for what you do.
