I think this solo scares a lot of folks away because of the speed, but there is no need for that.
However, this beginning phrase trips up a lot of my students because of the syncopation pattern. Yet this is a phrase that comes up time and time again in solos like this or Johnny B. Goode or dozens more.

After going through many of BGU courses over many years I can tell you that when Griff tells you that you will get it…if you do as he tells you… you WILL get it. I’ve gone from playing cowboy chords badly with the worst case of inability to count out or stay on rhythm to being able to play all over the fretboard and stay with the beat. It ain’t pretty and every song is a struggle at first but if I just do what Griff says then before long I got it. He is the best instructor I’ve had and I’ve had a bunch from online to private. So kudos Griff, I’m stickin’ with ya for the long run!
Thank you SO much for this, it made my week! So glad to have you.
