“Me & My Guitar” by Freddie King is one of my all time favorite tunes, I play it with my band often (pretty much every gig.)
Surprisingly, I’ve never really sat down and transcribed all of it carefully and precisely, so I decided to do that today with the intro lick.
It’s a telltale blues lick in a straight feel with just a little bit of funkiness to it that immediately announces the tune and the vibe with authority.

hey Griff I wish you would do more videos like this. I learn much easier this way, could you do a video on the cool double stop licks on the song Deeper by Ellis Baily I would really like to learn those but I just cant figure them out
