We’re gonna take a little detour today and I think you’ll get a lot out of it…

Instead of a new lick, let’s make a solo out of the 3 we have so far. That’ll give you another day to practice if you need it, and hopefully a little motivation if you hear how cool these can sound.

Of course, remember we are celebrating the release of my new 50 MAJOR Slow Blues Licks By The Box course which is available now and on special this week for it’s initial release.

You can get more info on that right here:

Hey Griff I really like these licks and how you showed the changes you made in Red on the go. I have saved the Jam track and the TAB and printed it out to practice it so that I have a few good Blues Licks at hand. As usual a very good lesson and I enjoyed it.
I think I told you on FB BGU Students, that I have joined a Band as their Lead Guitarist and currently learning songs in their repertoire and also song by the two ex pro singers. We all live in a Retirement Village in Sydney and most of the 3 band original members are all ex professional entertainers. Our Band Leader is still a Pro Key Board Player & singer, Rhythm Guitarist was an ex Pro Keyboard musician, and a Drummer who has play for 60Years in bands. I have now joined as Lead Guitarist never played in a Band as I was purely a Hobby /Home Guitarist learning from BGU since about 2015. I have a friend that has joined as our Bass Guitar Player who played in Bands but now retired and has just purchased a Bass Guitar and Amp. so The Band is a 7 member Band. Exciting days ahead and I will use these licks when I suggest that we play a Blues in A at the end of our Gigs as a Jam, like Bands Do.

      Best wishes

      Michael-May 8th 2024- Sydney Australia.
