Honestly, I can’t believe I’ve never taught this before publicly…
It’s a classic melody, and a classic song that you really should know how to play. It’s actually not that difficult, unless you want to do it exactly right and then the syncopation is a little tricky so we’ll get to talk about some pretty crazy counting techniques 🙂
TAB is on-screen, or click here for the PDF.
The chords are on YouTube here if you need them.

Garry would be looking down thinking : “What’s that bloody tee shirt he’s wearing”.
Looking up maybe.
Absolutely one of my most favorite solos. Feel the need to crank when it comes on. Thanks for the lesson.
This is really a great lesson. I also went back and watched the related blog on the chord progression. The circle of 4ths chord progression is fascinating. I ended up capturing the sheet music/tab and pasting them into my notes to review. I wish there were a way to post the pdf I generated here.
There should be a place in the BGU forums to post it. A version probably is.
PDF of the TAB is above, now.
Hey Griff! What a great song, and a great lesson. I’m trying to play it right now. I wish you would publish the tabs in printable format.
