Recently I did a video where I talked about using a minor “2+3” pattern to get through your original 5 pentatonic boxes in a horizontal fashion…

I likened it to a subway train where you use the pattern to move through boxes until you want to “get off” and start back in with your regular, “by the box” types of licks…

There were a few requests for a “major” version of that idea, and I use this 3+2 pattern quite a bit (and have a few videos on it) but you still may not have seen it – and you’ve certainly not seen it like this.

This is the reason I come to this site and have bought packages from Blues Guitar Unleashed. These hacks/enhancements are awesomw.

I have got the 5 positions of pentatonic, and blues scales under my fingers.

I am always looking for a new way to enhance my playing.

I could use a simple way to incorporate the modes into my playing.

      Thanks for the relevant lesson.

Great insight. Brought things up a level very naturally. Looking at the same things with a bit of a shift really worked for me.
