This is a lick I took from my 5 “Easy” Hard Rock Solo course (out of solo #2, in fact)…
It’s in the key of E Minor, but where we used the minor pentatonic scale exclusively in the last example, this time we’re going to mix in some of the E Natural Minor scale (often called the E Aeolian Mode.)
Really pay attention to how I break up the longer run in the last bar and do it beat by beat to get your fingers up to speed.
And if you want to learn more about that course, check out: https://bluesguitarunleashed.com/get-5ehrs-launch/

Really digging the Hard Rock course. It doesn’t even feel like learning, just a whole ot of fun……….finally something for all of us 80’s kids that we own
Thanks Griff. Refresh us on box 5 pattern. Box 1 is shown over and over, but not box 5, and I tend to forget it.
