Okay, I did it. I threw my hat in the ring to win a chance to play at the Crossroads Festival in Chicago this summer.
In order to get there, I need votes – a lot of them. That’s where you come in.
Visit http://playcrossroads.com and register to vote by entering your email address and then confirming it (sorry about this step, but they have to know you’re a human – or close enough.)
Then visit http://playcrossroads.com/griff3 and vote for the band there. While you’re there, feel free to listen to some tunes I posted.
That’s it. Thanks and I appreciate the help.
Griff

Dang! I tried to register with no luck. Seems like I’m not the only one… I do love the BGU and SWS lessons.
I tried to vote for your band (Griff Hamlin Band) after registering on the battle of the bands site. I did not see your band on the list and tried to do a search for your band with no luck. Sorry I tried!!!
Griff, I was so pleased with your free lessons I felt that the least I could do, (apart from buying your ‘Beginners’ Blues’ and ‘Ultimate Blues Guitar’ courses!) is vote for you… but when I tried to register I kept being told I was entering an incorrect email address or password; well, it couldn’t have been the password, as I was only just registering! And I checked my email address; it was correct too… I can only think that perhaps there is some kind of international block on this site… Is this competition only open to USA residents? If so perhaps only USA residents are allowed membership of that site…
In any case, even I can’t give you my real vote, you have it spiritually!
😉

Well I finally made it to the end of the blog. Boy let me tell you that you\’ve convinced me. I’ll be putting in my order this coming Monday, these videos and the way you go about explaining everything with the supporting documentation to boot are great. I just know the Course will be even better.

What garbage–practice a guitar by learning the seven chourds then worry about leads, crappy and useless technique
I just cast my vote for you. I enjoyed the tunes as well. Thanks for all the great tips in the videos. I hope you get to show your stuff at Crossroads.
Doug.
Just voted for you buddy. I wish you the best of luck!
Great songs!
Doc
griff. already voted, had a listen to the four tracks, need I say had a bit of a jam along on the classic geetar. Great sounding band, real tight, loads of soul and expression, who said blues ain’t from the spirit. Thanks for the lessons also. All helps. Just wish by miracles of God, I get there to some of those concerts. Pity about quarantine with animals, I don’t know if I could give up my two cats Lilly at 19 and a half, super nice siamese and Laxmi the 12 year old. I had a mate move there who said US taxes are no where near as bad as Australia. Not that I’m working anymore. This is just to say I listened, and loved those four tracks. Nick108 Adelaide Australia. All the electronic stuff, can never capture that ‘live’ sound. I love to use it, but aim to eventually do away with sequencers and replace tracks with live recordings.
