I was messing around with the song, “Life In The Fast Lane,” and digging into the solo a little…
It uses a great trick using Box 1 of the major pentatonic scale to follow the chords around, and I figured I’d show you how it works today.

I’ve followed you for years and you’ve been the biggest positive influence on my guitar playing. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your daily videos! You’re the best!
Thanks Griff, you are a great teacher. I often browse the internet checking out other teachers, but I find myself βAlways β coming backβ HOME β to you. π lol. I love you buddy. Please keep up the Good Work. We NEED you.
Great lesson Griff. This one really struck a chord with me.π Thank you. Gary
Quality teaching, great lessons
IS this a Joe Walsh Merit Badge situation?
Griff, love your lessons. I’ve played for many years and have been doing things I didn’t know what they were called and you always teach me something.
I would like to see you do a tutorial on a couple of things (1) the different picking techniques you use, and (2) different string combinations. My fingers are old and I can’t bend em so well anymore.
You’re down here in Texas now, right?
Regards
Rodger
