And, truth be told, this type of lick is one of my favorite types of country sounds and I think you’re going to love adding it to your own playing.
Watch carefully, there are a few patterns you’ll go through to make this sound. For now, just move your fingers and make the lick happen, you’ll “see” it all on the guitar later when you can do it.

Hi Griff : Great lick ! But I have a question. Why play the last 3 notes predominantly on the 10th fret (c on the 10th fret, 4th string, c# on 11 th fret, a on 10th fret, 2nd string) when your fingers are already hovering round the 7th fret
and it would seem more efficient to play instead c on the 3rd string, 5th fret, c# on 6th fret, a on 5th fret,
1st string ?
I also bought this course 2 days ago and I only wish it had been around years ago. I’m looking forward to getting my head around country licks I’ve been trying to master for ages.
