While “Ain’t No Sunshine” is not necessarily a blues, exactly, it’s often played at blues jams and it’s a staple at my acoustic blues gigs.

So you should probably learn how to play it, and it’s a great song to work on your strumming and open chords and stuff.

If you find your strumming isn’t where you’d like it, it’s a really important skill so you might want to check out my Strumming And Rhythm Mastery course at https://strummingmastery.com/

Now grab your guitar and watch this video and try it with me..

Hey Griff, this song has been on my radar to learn for a while and I actually started working on it yesterday. So this is great timing. Thank you. About your little Gibson – you refer to it as a 00 size. How does that compare to a parlor size? I’m kinda looking at getting something smaller to take in the RV. That’s why I ask. Thanks.

I suspect they are very similar, if not the same. It’s definitely smaller than my dreadnaught Taylor, and even a little smaller than my other Grand Auditorium size. For me it’s perfect, and has a very balanced tone.
