This is a lick I took from my 5 “Easy” Hard Rock Solo course (out of solo #2, in fact)…

It’s in the key of E Minor, but where we used the minor pentatonic scale exclusively in the last example, this time we’re going to mix in some of the E Natural Minor scale (often called the E Aeolian Mode.)

Really pay attention to how I break up the longer run in the last bar and do it beat by beat to get your fingers up to speed.

      Thanks Griff. Refresh us on box 5 pattern. Box 1 is shown over and over, but not box 5, and I tend to forget it.
