Well, it’s hard to believe another BGU Live is over… but wow, what a great time we had!
In case you couldn’t make it out, I’ve got a few early videos for you so you can get an idea of just what goes on here…

WOW, that looked like a lot of fun. Is this a annual event? I am new to BGU, and couldn’t make it this year. I was “this CLOSE” to dropping everything and coming down to catch your concert on Friday. Only 10 hours from where I live. But next year, with advanced notice I can put it in my schedule. Thanks Griff
It looks like you all had a great time, just a pity it is so far from South Africa, I would have loved to be there, to meet you all. Unfortunately we don’t always get what we want.

Thanks for the clips. Looks and sounds like lots of fun!!! I would like to see this an annual event in Memphis Too!!!! Would have loved to be there as well. Was too late in getting the tickets.

I couldn’t attend the BGU Live 2016. I live in Memphis only 3 blocks away from the Bon Ton Cafe. But… I do have a souvenir… The gal at the Cafe did give me a flyer on “The Griff Hamlin Band” that was outside in front of the place from when they played last Friday. Like to have seen that show too.
Maybe will if return to Memphis again.

Had a blast at Bon Ton Cafe 10/7. Great show. Great people. Great community of music lovers. Meet and greet before and after the show was inspiring. Glad you enjoyed Memphis Tennessee. My town has a lot to offer I hope it left you wanting more and that you’ll be back soon.
Laura is great you are a lucky man Griff. It is great to see that these are just regular guys up there it’s inspiring me maybe next year. Also great to see instruments being used that don’t cost an arm and a leg.

Is Memphis an annual thing? I’ m sorry I missed it, definitely wouldn’t miss it next year. Are there any other get togethers like Memphis ? What, when & where. Thanks for all your e-mails & lessons I’ve purchased.

As I said on behalf of all your BGU Members around the world and those in down under in Australia & NZ, I thankyou for recording some of the events with these videos. It is a super super incentive for us all to persevere to get to the level of you guys with the help of Griff, so that one day we can participate in one of these BGU Live events.
It looks like you were living the BGU day after day with lots of fun and concentration as well as sharing musical ideas etc. Like a BGUer Boot Camp of Blues Guitar Music!!

Any chance of purchasing the BGU Live in Memphis Black T-Shirts, we could perhaps by one when we next purchase a BGU Course!!! Just think of the FREE advertising this event would get if I wore this around the clubs where Bands are playing or the many Rock n Roll festivals around Australia, 3 on this weekend just in NSW.
