Yesterday

We went to the movies to see Yesterday, yesterday. I went in thinking it would be ..Meh... good music but crappy movie.
It was way better than I expected and I found myself feeling what it would be like to be the main character. I don't think I've ever connected that viscerally with movie character before.

Sorta.
Lights go out all over the wold, struggling musician gets hit by a bus. When he wakes up no one knows who the Beatles are, so he "writes" Beatle songs and becomes famous. (Boy did I ever make the movie sounds like crap or what?
It's got some great music and a couple of twists to keep it interesting.

When I was younger I used to wonder what would happen if I was sent back in time and could "write" all the hit songs that haven't been written yet.

Well, there is a studio engineer, his parents, a roadie and his love interest... LOL
