Hi guys. I've been working on the intro to Johnny B. Goode. I think it's up to about 80% speed:

Criticism welcome. Thanks for listening!

I tabbed it out myself with the help of my teacher:

When I play it I replace the "dwerpdies" (that's what they sound like to me :p ) with slides instead of bends. I had been practicing it on my ukelele, which has nylon strings that you can't really bend notes on, so I replaced them with slides. Well damn if I didn't like it better that way, so I left them, even on electric.

Also, in the 4th bar I don't play the Bb power chord, I play the little Bb chord on the D, G and B strings:

e
B 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6
G 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7
D 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8
A
E

Also left over from practicing on the uke . . .

Thanks for the tabs...printing them out as I write. Will give it a try and hope it sounds as good as yours!

Hey Borodog, gang,
Last night I decided to get that track out of mothballs...here is a link to another site with an easy to follow video...no tabs though..I thought Griff had done something with the song...I remember working on it a couple years ago I think with stuff Griff did but not sure...Chuck is looking into it...anyway, here's a simple vid that may help those interested...the solo is different from the one posted here. :

Yeah, Justin's version is awesome and probably more authentic.  I don't claim mine is exactly how Chuck played it; it's just how I can manage to play it. ;)
