We all have our "other" interests. I am no classical buff but there are a few pieces and performances that move me. Thanks to you-tube I found this. To my delight I learned that this song was banned by the Nazis as it was performed as a protest song during tough times.

If you are in a hurry, or just think you hate classical music please ignore this post.

If you open to gambling 15 minutes of your time you might enjoy this. Best enjoyed without interruption, with good sound reproduction, and end to end to get the recurring themes and movement.

If music has the capacity to calm and heal, this is like "extra strength" for me.

My Sunday morning gift (probably best taken in the evening though) to those who would accept, immersion into a beautiful dichotomy, stormy calm.

That falls neatly into my pigeon hole labeled "easy listening". I seldom seek it out but usually enjoy classical music.
