I'm from CT, not NY, but close enough. This is the second time that the timing of a business trip coincided with one of these jams.
It was good to see some people I've met before and meet some new ones.

Crap! I thought I told everyone (or told people to tell people or something). Sorry David. First, Griff and laura were going to come to the jam at some point, then it changed to meeting afterward. Brain dead again.

There was a shortage of bass and drum players, so I filled in to the extent of my ability. As far as guitar playing, whatever gains I've made don't translate well to a jam situation . Playing a "lesson" is a whole different thing than playing with a group in a jam situation and you can't always hear yourself that well. And playing with an unfamilliar amp

Mike did a great job in the after party selections. What a blast.
I caught an Uber from my hotel, you know the whole drink/driving thing. Marv was gracious enough to volunteer Terri to drive me home.
So I got back to the hotel, went to the bar and had a glass of wine while I posted some FB stuff.
Full of Jack and wine I went to bed around midnight and then up at 4 am to drive to the airport.
I was " jober as a sudge " err sober as a judge.
And BTW, geeez Steve ( who also played bass at Lake Arrowhead) man. . . .can he play!!!! He was great!
