Im enjoying your videos but having trouble saving the MP4 download or the WMV file download and the Jam Track in G. However the PDF file gives me the option to save in a folder of my choice but when I click to download the other files, they don’t save anywhere on my computer. Thanks in advance

Griff, This is really great. I play the sax and trumpet as well. I want to do some improvisational stuff using the trumpet along with you. This will be fun. Thanks

    • Sam Hill says:

Google search an appropriate download manager for your OS. End of problem. (I use adm for android on my phone)

    • tracy says:

I use Linux Mint, and simply right mouse click and “Save link as”, it always goes to my Downloads folder.

Since Griff refuses to recognise Linux desktops, I simply select the MP4, but it doesn’t actually matter, as I’m not inhibited by proprietary software

      Right click on the
      “Download This Video (MP4)”
      text and select
      “save link as …”
Then a windows to save should come up asking where you want to save it too.

    • Excellent. Simplicity is the best. Music is all feel and you can hear the differ rythim combination in your head and then just play them. alot of good improvisation with the tracts. Love it. says:

I not exactly sure why ,but, this video got me re-thinking the 5-1-4 thing. What I had was totally incorrect . Have You ever demostrated this pattern ?

  28. Legoge47 says:

the first pattern is reminiscent of several tunes by Bert Kaempfert’s orchestra. (Wonderland by Night, etc)

  29. Terry H says:

Very opportune! I was struggling to make make the change to the high C7 chord in lesson 6 BGU at full speed. But just missing out the second strum before the change makes all the difference.

  30. Gary card says:

  31. bruce says:

all I want to say: You are one hell of a wonderful teacher — best I have seen regardless of the subject being taught

  32. Matthew says:

Just like to say Aussie $$ down and I’m on a Veteran affairs pension. Music helps my PTSD and pain. I dove into my saving and got the unleashed course but cost over $350. Started the digital part until the DVDs and stuff arrive. You have really helped me to start looking at my music and feeling it not just playing it. I love the blues /rock. Any help with some extra parts would really be great to get a chance to win other course parts. But thank you so far early but really impressed and you explain nice and easy to follow. All I can do is put up my hand for a chance at adding extras. I can see this course is really going to give me the direction I’m starting to need.
    Cheers
    Matt

  33. Graeme H says:

Thanks Griff, this lesson makes me realise that it doesn’t have to be complex to make enjoyable music; particularly with a backing track. Your lessons are much appreciated.
    Cheers
    Graeme

  34. Michael Chappell says:

    Hey Griff,
Glad to see some other Aussies here on this page. Have to agree that this is very simple to follow and you make it so easy to follow.
Some of this lesson is included in the BGU V 2 Course which I am absolutely enjoying.
I am retired and loving every moment you can contribute to my lessons and playing.

    Thanks
    Michael -Sydney Australia

  36. […] In fact, if you know the key, and you know the feel, you can often jump right in and play without much else to go on if you have some blues rhythms that you know will work. […]

  37. dave says:

as always you make everything so easy.thanks for sharing.dave.

  38. Theodore j. Mish says:
