Amps New Monoprice 30w head and cabinet

Monoprice has introduced a 30w head that appears to be a re-branded Laney VC30. They have a cabinet paired with a 60w Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, or you can purchase either the head or the cab separately. The head by itself is $449, the cabinet is $199, and both together are $599.

I was looking for details on the cab's construction, whether it was mdf or plywood. I could not find anything, which is not saying much since these tired eyes often miss things they should not Should anyone identify the cab's composition, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the 31 lb. cabinet weight and that most speaker cabs these days are plywood, my guess would be plywood. MDF is at least 50% heavier than plywood.

Funny how the combo will be available in February, but the head not until May.

I have found my magic sound using a Monoprice 5 watt amp plugged into a peavey closed cab with an Eminence Li'l Texas 8 ohm speaker installed. Using standard Boss pedals T/S + BD and getting all the sound I need, finally!!!
