A Fun Brian Setzer Style Pull-Off Run
Nothing fancy today… just a fun lick you should be able to grab fairly quickly.
This works great over a blues in E when the band is swinging pretty hard and the tempo is a little faster.
Have Fun!

Very Smooth I like it.So easy & Cool
Cool lick, Griff. I just need to really work on that speed.
Thanks again Griff
Nifty riff.
Sweet, Thanks Griff, I will get right on that puppy…!!
Hi Griff. Superb lick, heard it before in early Chet Atkins stuff who happens to be one of my all time favourite guitarists. Found it relatively easy to play but not with the fluidity that you demonstrated. Practice, practice will get me there! Great lesson again, thank you.

Griff , it was fun before , and is still a lot of fun . A simple riff the way you present it . Thanks for sending again . Mike Z
Right on Griff, I like this exercise riff… Keep up the great little lessons you give us to keep everything just that much more interesting from time to time.Cheers
Cool Griff. I like it and can be a good warm up riff too. Appreciate it!
Nice riff. Appreciate you showing it. Thanks, Griff.
Thank you.
Thanks. Really appreciate it.
Thanks Griff, as usual your videos are informative and very much appreciated!
Cool. Setzer is one of favourites.
Up&Down the neck4,3,1 one relative to key! ? (Minor)?
Thanks Griff U Rock
Awesome lessons Thanks
Thanks…with any of these pulloffs and fast runs I always get lost with whether the picking hand is doing down or up strokes..and when….or is that just me.?..looks like its down then all the rest are up…Is there a rule ?
I’ve been watching some of your stuff for a while and learned some but I’ve been playing for 55 years started at the age of 5 never have taken lessons but I love doing my own thing and stuff I’ve learned from you helps me be even better so I want to thank you for what you do music aayne
Thanks Griffon
DIDN’T GET THE VIDIO
I did not get the video!
Love that lick. I use it all the time.
Great lick “easy” and efective. I have to improve my pull-offs. Thanks man.
So, it’s flat3, 2, 1, flat 7,6,5,flat5,4,flat3,and end on 1? Walking down the minor Blues scale in E?
Thanks Griff. Very slow at this but I have the idea and will practice. Love these tiny lessons. Thanks for giving your time.
love it griff
Nice and simple I like it
Just realizing lately how poor my pull-off technique is. Not sure if it’s finger strength, guitar set-up, or what…but, like everything else, needs work! Thanks!
Thanx for this man, any more
Great way to practice pulloffs
Great clip! Check out our booth Meethook.com booth 6841 at NAMM!
Sweet little lick! So simple but very effective! Thanks for sharing Griff.
Nice
Nice Griff
Sometime I’d love to have you do that Billy Gibbons style triplet lick lesson ala “Rough Boy” that you did awhile back !
Looks like FUN ! AGAIN – Griff…you are STILL the best ! Thank-you,sir.
Hi Griff. I would love to see a video by you devoted to the electric riffs and licks of rockabilly. Especially the unique creative sound of Scotty Moore on those early Sun and RCA Elvis records. The original sound was extrondinary. How did he arrange the chords and notes to sound so good?
its fun but you make it look to easy thanks
I think it’s good for beginners to help them get used to string skipping with both hands using an easy enough lick. It’s also something that sounds cool and is fun to play and will keep them engaged.
Great lick Griff, as always, thanks.
