I love these “trick” or stock phrase type lessons that you put out. Immediately practical and theory-informative in regard to chord structure and usage. I, especially, do like the move to 9th chords you demonstrated. They offer a kind of “relaxing” and open contrast to the down and dirty aggressive sound of the 7ths. Almost like an invitation for someone else to pick up and go.
There are all kinds of lessons available out there but BGU/Griff’s are the best! I find your lessons/courses have more “clarity” and are easy to “absorb”. Thanks Griff for changing my guitar world hobby!
As ALWAYS, you have again delivered an amazing ( and free ! ) lesson. I have purchased numerous on-line lessons from you and find them always top notch. AND, certainly cost effective! You are, in my opinion, one of the best on-line guitar teachers, Thank you, brother! Sincerely Bob C. – USA,
I bought your SRV course a year ago, September. I was really interested in your BLUES course for several months and I was going on the road so wanted to have something to work on. I bought it at the last minute and got it just in time. When I was buying your BLUES course, I noticed the SRV course and bought that too. I’m a fan of SRV, now, but I really wasn’t that familiar with him until recent years since I lived overseas during his heyday. (In my teen years, I was obsessed with BB King so there is a natural affinity.) I went through the Blues course in a couple of days but I have hardly touched the SRV course – – I have been a medical train-wreck for the last six years so that is my excuse. I’m in ABQ right now – – read about your trip, here in the last couple of days. I’m hoping to live long enough to use many more of your teaching products.
Interesting… all the replies, here, are from men. These days, I would have expected remarks from at least a couple of women. … A lot of female talent out there.
Love your lessons. I have purchased several of your programs just need to start working on them

I really enjoy your lessons.
Love these vids, Griff. At least I can dream about playing guitar like U do!
I thought “I know that!’. Then I though “But I don’t use it.” Now I’m gonna practice it up and use it. Thanks Griff.
Double stops are great in moderation like you said we wouldn’t want to live solely there. What’s your take on octave sliding around. ?
But what are good ways to carry it on after playing the various double stops?
Nice job sir!!
Thanks for all the good licks you put out there to help us hacks continue to learn and grow.
Always appreciated!
Thank you so much for another bite sized lesson.
Aussie Chris
Surprised you didn’t demonstrate this SRV lick on your ’69 original Strat!!
Unfortunately it’s getting some new frets at the moment, I wore them out 🙂
