Working on solo 5, still

BraylonJennings

It's all blues
In my quest to finish bgu2, I've been plugging away at solo5 for quite a bit. I've interrupted my lessons with work on the member challenges, a couple original tunes, and a couple Hendrix songs I'm still polishing. But I'm close to having solo 5 in my hands, just need to master that long closing run. Then just keep grinding until I can get it fluid. I regularly go back through the first 4 solos to help ingrain them, and I feel really comfortable with them, especially 2 and 4. It takes a long time for me to relate the solos to the underlying chords, which is what's necessary to start improvising off them, but its coming. I run through all the rhythm lessons a couple times a month to try to keep them in hand also. Sometimes it all gets overwhelming and I take a couple days off the electric, but my goal is to finish this course in under 2 years. Leaves me 5 months or so.
