When famous people are cool

Attempting the Blues
I would do anything Katy Perry asked me to do, even play a Daisy Rock guitar...........................yes I am that shallow
Hey- John Mayer let it go,
David Bryan. He came in to a bar/restaurant where my son was playing. I honestly thought he was homeless, but the mother of my son’s buddy recognized him. He ate dinner with some other people and we didn’t bother him.
I also sat onstage at a Allman Brothers show once. Gregg was playing about a foot away from me. I remember the promoter telling him not to have any drum solos during the show. Gregg just ignored him. Warren Haynes sat right next to me during the drum solo, but I didn’t say anything to him.

I’ve known many famous scientists and Nobel Prize winners and they were mostly very nice people (with one noteable exception).
Can't you name that notable exception or at least give us a clue? In what field?

Michael Mann?

He’s a very prominent marine biologist. In his discipline he’s a very big name but I doubt if the general public would recognize his name. To be fair, he probably feels the same way about me.

It makes me happpy to play The Blues!
My brother and I began watching Tim McCoy, on television beginning in 1952, and learned American Indian Sign Language from him. We were both Eagle Scouts, and during the Scout Arama at the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, September 1958, we met “Iron Eyes Cody”. We spoke to him in sign language. Wow! (y)

A few years ago, we found out that “Iron Eyes Cody”, was really Italian American! :)

We also saw James Garner, who just stepped outside of a dressing room, where he was in the process of kissing a woman! It turned out to be his wife! We were standing about six feet away. He was very polite to us. :)

Iron Eyes wasn't the only Italian to portray an American Indian. An old family friend of my wife's, Joe Vitale was an actor who appeared in several of the "Road" movies with Bob Hope and Bing Cosby. This is a picture of him on the set of Fancy Pants and one from The Paleface. Every time I saw Joe, he always insisted on us only speaking Italian!
