I'm a new guitar player and I just purchased BGU 2.0. I noticed you have a Beginning Blues Guitar program also. What is the difference between the two and should I have started with BBG?

I was not new to guitar when I started with Griff. Back then there was only BGU 1 available. about half way through it, he came out with Beginning Blues Guitar. I didn't think I'd get much out of it, but while I did breeze through most of it, I still got some good stuff from it.
Since you are brand new to guitar, AND if you are finding BGU 2 really hard, I'd go back and pick up BBG.
BBG Is a course on basics including:
tuning
Tab reading
Very basic licks
a few in the style of songs
Chords, chords, chords
It was a fun course to play through.
