What got me here?

Pure and simple...

Martin Miller and Andy Timmon's "Still Got The Blues (Gary Moore Cover) - Live In Studio.

I am absolutely obsessed with the quality of play by those musicians.

Then;

i ran across Griff's "Circle of 4th Changes" covering that song on You tube. Wrote down the finger/fret/string to the 13 chords in that song as demonstrated by Griff.
Played em' on my accoustic and knew right then and there that my days of flitting across one You tube video after another were over.
Bought BGU, ABGU and an electric almost immediately. I'm retired, a former musician (drums) and have a new leash on life. I want to go beyond porch-playing and feel that with time and these programs, i got a decent shot at doing so.
Thank you Mr. Hamlin.

Welcome- I hope you have a new lease on life, not a leash!
griff is an excellent teacher. There are a lot out there that just say put your finger here and then here. Griff gets into the "why".

Welcome to the forum Ney.

Gotta say that ‘Still Got The Blues’ by Gary Moore is one of my favourite tracks too
