Throwing down in Chicago Blues camp 2022

Scary articles. So, if I were at a blues event in Chicago (or Minneapolis, or California, or...) I'd sure have a hard time not being obsessively scared of a gang coming into the venue and doing a smash-and-grab on my guitar case and making off with my extra picks and tuner. ;)

Attempting the Blues
I think you are trying to be sarcastic, but yes I would worry about carjackings and muggings in all those cities

Minneapolis might be the worst.

Rosa's is in a decent neighborhood. I went to a blues jam there with quite a few family members a few years ago. The jam was run like the city, as in who do you know. I sat there for 3 hours and never got to play. A former retired cop friend of mine who stays in contact with current officers says the cops can't leave fast enough. I could go on but it's all political. (n)BB8C1D45-1929-44B8-B3C9-C26FE56A3BD3_1_105_c.jpeg
