The Adirondack Lake life!

It's actually one of the smallest lakes I've been at. That's part of the charm: fewer people.

We used to have a cabin in Elizabethtown (Exit 28).

Loved summers in the Nawth Country. Wind your watch back 20 years.

No TV, 1 country radio station. You make your own fun. Use to meet up with a lot of acoustic players up there.

Miss those days. Simple life. TILL WINTER COMES!

Enjoy it Spinny! You only go round once baby!

I remember when my son was about 4 years old, we went to a demonstration and Q&A by the search and rescue team at Lake Champlain.

For those of you that don't know Champ is supposedly a pre-historic underwater dinosaur like Nessie, that lives in Lake Champlain.

After the team finished the demo we went to Q&A, big mistake on their part. No one is asking questions but my son.

1st Question Did you guys ever have to rescue Champ?
2nd Question Well did you guys ever see Champ?
3rd Question What kind of fish does Champ eat?
4th Question Has Champ eaten any people, cause I saw this movie...

Now the crowd is loving this, but the presenter is getting tired of answering Champ questions, and just wants 1 non-Champ related question.

So he starts asking "Are there any other questions, that aren't about Champ"?

After a brief silence, my son fires off about another 5 Champ questions, and the Q&A ends.

He thinks he's off the hook, but now my son walks over and starts asking more Champ questions.

The guy looks at me with his eyes pleading "Please make it stop".

As we are walking over to the car my wife looks at me and says "He's your son".

I have many more "He's your son episodes", loved every one of them.
