Swamp Donkey's Blues in E(asy)

This bit is much more exciting if you start out to do something like Griff demonstrates here:

I first recorded the Blues in E rhythm at 75 bpm on the Stratacoustic using the trusty Princeton Mustang preset (thanks again Cyberthrasher).  Then I added the Sitting Easy electric lead over top using the Roadhouse Strat on middle pup using a Blues Jr preset that I like (I really need a mic setup someday to capture the real Blues Jr that sits in the corner envious of the Mustang)  How's the mix?

I think Griff should Version 3 his BBG course to add this lesson (certainly makes it less tedious)

Playin' for the fun of it.
Well done on bringing those together, It's all about having the ideas, well it'll certainly make going over the basic tunes I'm learning a bit more interesting. Well Done...like the vibrato.

Happy New Year Todd.  [smiley=beer.gif] [smiley=beer.gif]

Thanks Don.  I tried to spice up the lead on the second go through.  Well, spiced up for me anyway... added a couple bends and the vibrato at near the end just seemed right. :p

Happy New Year to you as well!

Some really nice creative thinking there Todd. I'm pretty sure that Griff's thoughts on this course were Keep It Simple, because not everyone is going to be able to pick it up as quickly as you seem to be doing. I really enjoyed how you tooke what Griff gave you and kicked it up a notch or three.
