I've been working on the Pride and Joy rhythm for about a 6 months.. Why do I have such a problem with muting those 3 strings on the upstroke? I get it when it is super slow, but when I bring it up to speed those strings ring out. I just don't get it, and my left hand will not cooperate. I can play and count (thanks for the several reminders) but that rhythm seems to evade me. I'm decent with rhythms but that SRV thing is driving me nuts. What do you think?
