Muddy Blues ... hitting the 2-3 notes

Hi ... I'm having real difficulty with hitting a 2 and a 3 on the b and e strings ... like the last note in the first measure of Muddy Blues.   That comination came up in the previous song too. Any suggestions? ( and, yes, I have been practicing!)  :)

Is the problem fingering those frets together? If so, try slowing down to a ridiculously slow pace and just reaching for them over and over again from the prior position.  You may have to do it a few times over a couple of days, but that usually works for me when I have difficulty with a new chord that is hard to reach.

Playin' for the fun of it.
In Muddy A Blues, play the C with your 1st finger, play the 2nd fret with your 2nd finger and leave it in place while you play the open top e string then place your 3rd finger on the 3rd fret G note and strum both the 2nd & 3rd frets.  :)
