Muddy A Blues first recording

Hi GUys,
This is my attempt at this piece.  Recorded a few times today and still keep dropping the odd note here and there but getting there slowly.  I think part of my problem is I am learning Bass as well and my muscle memory is getting a bit confused in string spacing !!

In know it's a couple years too late, but your timing is impeccable with no backing track. Are you still on the forum?

On my way
Yay! Someone else with a new recording here in BBG. I was lonely. Good for you for putting it on and sharing today  I hope to hear more too.

Yes still on the forum.  I just listened to this again as it's a long time since I did that and have now finished the BGU course and am on the gig in a box course and the new one fron Steve on soloing.

Thanks for the comments although lo0king back things always sound awful !!

If you went back and played that now you would probably have a little more "conviction" and dynamics, but at the time you were playing it clean and in time.

Might be fun to go record it again :)

Probably right.  I keep thinking of going through the book again as a sort of revision but so busy with other stuff including music exams for bass, guitar, keyboard and drums I am struggling.  Good job I retired from the work thing !!
;D ;D ;D
