Hi Griff,
This is the first time I've contributed via the forum but I felt I needed to with regard to the Modes Unleashed Course.
I believe that a short lesson focused on a Fleetwood Mac instrumental would ably illustrate to all BGU members the benefits of understanding Modal Scales as well as Pentatonic Scales.
The instrumental I am talking about is called Jigsaw Puzzle Blues (I’m sure you know it) and for me it covers everything you are saying in the course.
For example it uses Modes and Pentatonic Scales, there are several Key Changes and it demonstrates the relevant chords in each key. Also there are Major and Minor phrases in the piece.
