As Gunther Toody used to say, "Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh!"
I like this. In honor of Albert King (which is where I first heard it), I'll grab my flying V and BBIAF.

I hadn't listened to all of TZ's opening monologue before I decided to set up shop, but that sounded great!

Here ya go... I'm in from 1:50 to 3:41.

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.

I usually do a few run throughs trying to figure out what I'm gonna do.

But this time I only did it once.

So I decided to post what I did while trying to decide what I'm gonna do.

So that's what I'm doing.

Posting what I did trying to figure out what I was gonna do.

So this is what I did trying to figure out what I was gonna do. o_O (3:38-5:26)

Good one TZ,:thumbup::thumbup: cool minor track and a smooth lead off. That reminds me of something, but I just can't place it... Papa, very unusual that I hear you in the mix where I wish you were more up front, you usually nail it, in this one it sounds to me like your are a hiding just a little, Shame too, you have some very cool old sounding, bending, steppy stuff. Certainly sounds great as is!!! Paleo, I think I know what you mean, I think...know what I mean? Talking about reminding me of something...have you been listening to old Zappa...I'm a little .....with my .... Nevermind, Probably not. Nice post you made while you were pondering, you come in real solid, cool! (y) You guys sure make this sound like fun! I may be back later if there is any left, if not I'll enjoy what was done! :)

Very nice Paleo. Sounds like you were thinking quickly on your feet while trying to figure out what you were thinking you would be figuring out what to play(n)(n)(n). Huh.......

Thanks, TZ.

I really liked this one.

I'd never heard the song before (or even of Tab o_O), so I watched him play it "live" on YouTube just prior, so I got the main riff directly from him.

And it's still going through my head several hours later, including the time I spent on by bike ride today. :)

Yep great track TZ. I am not that familiar with him but will check out his stuff some more.
Anyways, fumbled around with a bunch of takes before settled back and remembered the words of a wise man: start phrase after the one and end early in the next bar. Started doing that (or at least paying attention and trying to do that) and it flowed a little bit. You guys set the bar pretty damn high, very musical all of you.
I take it to 7:15.
Later..

You are never to old to learn something new.
Jumped in (for the first time that I can remember) at about 8:29 until about 9:01. Really struggle with my timing and I have not worked on soloing at all, just working on comping, but wanted to give this a try.

Reordered with my Fender Mustang III v2 my own settings and my Les Paul.

I was given tickets to see Tab in March, obviously that didn't happen :(

Sounds good. Welcome to the VJR and thank you for jumping in and giving it a go. Timing comes with practice and this is a great place to get a lot of practice in. You got that first one out of the way so it’s all gravy from here on out. Hope to see you back.

Wow! Since I posted I listened to some Tab, (he is great....didn't do me any good:whistle:) now I can hear where some of the lines you guys are playing come out of, good job!:thumbup::thumbup:
Marc, you're a veteran now, sounding like it too, good one!!! You and that strat with the sugar patch, can't go wrong there Arty!!! Jeffery, welcome, great job, and if that was even a little bit of fun...it gets better!!! (y)

I seem to have pushed some nerves over the edge so for now I don't sit, stand, or lie for too long at all without some pretty sharp "experience". I really wanted to do something besides my daily routine (a light acoustic, walking slowly in circles, ahhhh...yes....dancing with my partner to the metronome...seated is better) anyway, with that by way of excuse, here is my contribution;

I may be sitting too hot in the mix, and I know I failed to be in the "Tab" spirit, hope it's OK. This is the Mira, the lightest electric I have, standing. Fun fun fun to play!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

TZ, you put up a couple of nice tracks, thanks!!! I sure wanted to show one some love anyway, and ya'll that pay attention know I'll usually go to my strong side and play a minor, given a choice, for now.

9:01 - 10:15 (cut off my last note if you want, no big.) Room for one more....
