thanks henryj.I'll put that in my favorites and try to remember to use it.funny the thing I dislike about my guitar playing the most is my inability to stay with the beat.counting the beat is also my least favorate thing to do while i'm playing.Gotta come up with a better plan. ;D

I think Griff would say if you can't do it or don't like counting, you need to do it until its second nature. He also might say, let your arm do the counting for you............

OK, Thanks HenryJ. I don't know RayUK...... I think yours may be closer on a couple. I felt like my wrist was hesitating and or speeding at times.

Good list Russ, it was interesting going through them - certainly an excellent way to get the feel of a piece as well as homing in on the bpm.

I guess the test is setting a metronome to our results & seeing how it goes... but me & the metronome are still getting acquainted
