There are a few ways to play this. Pick, pick and finger, thumb only or thumb and finger. I started with pick only.
Russ, I don't think there's a "Uh" in this one. they are straight eight notes "One and Two and Three and Four and". Adding the "uh" (One and u two and u...) would be used for triplets (like in example 9).
Again, much better on the second attempt... and you're swinging this one... you just gotta loosen up a little bit more and 'feel the pulse' of the beat...
