I'm at the point where the slow tracks are too slow, but the fast tracks are too fast. Is there a way to slow the tempo of the fast tracks a little? I've seen Audacity mentioned. Can that program slow the tempo and maintain the pitch?
I do it with my Iphone Amazing Slow Downer app.
Sometimes just with the phone speaker so I can hear the tune and sometimes plugged into the AUX plug of my amp for playing along.
The best thing to do is ACE the slow versions, then just keep sucking at the full speed until your hands figure out that it isn't acceptable to not keep up.
Thanks for your suggestions. I found that I could record the track in Audacity, and use the Change Tempo effect to slow down or speed up the tempo without changing the pitch.
Audacity will do the trick, but RiffMaster makes the whole process MUCH easier. A simple click and you can move the tempo up or down in small increments. It is however hard to argue with free.
