If you have never posted a recording here in the BGUTube section of the forum, you may not be aware that you cannot simply upload a video file to the forum.

To make a video recording available, you will need to use a 3rd party file sharing service such as Dropbox, Google Drive or Youtube. There are other services as well, but these are the ones most commonly used within the forum. Some other services do not support video, but the three listed have been tested and used before within the forum.

In case you do not have an account on any of these services, here is a link to a brief tutorial on setting up an account on Dropbox.

Creating a Dropbox account - Uploading and Posting

Dropbox will accept either audio or video files. You can then share the link to the recording within the forum. This tutorial also explains how to do that.

Creating a YouTube Account
If you have never created a YouTube or Google account, it is quite easy. From the main Youtube page, you will see a button in the upper right corner of your screen that says SIGN IN. If you click on it, you will be taken to a sign-in screen which also offers you the option of creating a Youtube account. It is necessary for you to have an account in order to upload your video to Youtube. Just follow the steps on Youtube to create your account. It is very straightforward. Once completed, you may upload almost any original video material you have recorded. You should read their Terms and Conditions.
Note: You cannot upload audio only files (i.e. MP3 or WAV) to Youtube. There must be some video content or Youtube will refuse to load it.
