I'd love to learn how to take a lick I already know and generate new ideas from it by varying the rhythm. For example, say I have a 2 bar lick of eighth notes. How can I create a variation by changing it into a triplet rhythm over 2 bars or playing it in double time and making sure it fits. Have you taught something resembling this concept? If so, can you point me to the lessons?
