Fortunately, it doesn't apply to anyone I've met on this forum.   [smiley=beer.gif]

Hate to say it but all too many times I see blues players on this forum and elsewhere fall victim to #5, particularly when it come to the S word. That's right Shredders.

In my younger days I was guilty of this too, but have adapted the attitude that if it is music to some, who am I to criticize?

I have even managed to listen to and like some rap music. Who knows maybe some day I might even be able to tolerate  improvisational jazz and disco.

PGHM  :)

I have a guy I work with who every time I manage to play something that sounds good he tells me . That sounded really good . You just learned that I played that ten years ago .LMAO ;D

Now that I'm older and wiser . Which was actually pretty easy . I remember a time when I wanted to be able to do all those things . I never did and for a long time I avoided music stores because I couldn't . I now go in and play what I can while trying out gear loud and proud .  ;D

What a train wreck, but that store just opened at  Times Square, in the heart of Manhattan. Eventually it will settle down.

Well there's a benefit to this in that I could disappear in there and no one would hear my mistakes!

As for the 10 easy steps vid, Good stuff.  The ones I think are most pervasive online are #2 about budgets and related gear (how true that it matters not which end of the spectrum you're at) and #8.  I am always amazed by the way these guys who post up free lessons on youtube get blasted by trolls.  Come to thin of it, everyone gets blasted by trolls on youtube, it's like some sort of a haven for trolls!

Man, that's the truth.  My son has a couple of successful Youtube channels.  He rarely reads comments any more.  He says every time he does, it makes him feel like he's a total failure.  It doesn't matter that each channel has over a million and half subscribers.  Just a few trolls can easily ruin his day.

#11 on the list is --- once you become a success ignore all public media become a recluse and disrespect all the people who helped you on your way to fame and fortune .I'm not there yet . but i can be hard to get a hold of .

Anthony posted a graph on Facebook of his average views on Youtube.  Compared to his regular weekly material this video has gone viral.  It must strike a chord with people! ;-)
