Here is this weeks installment, measure 12 is slightly jazzed up but managed to get back on track.

Good work, I was watching your fretting hand and it's all nice smooth movements (whereas mine always looks like a frantic grab for the next position :) )

You're progressing through BBG like lightning  [smiley=beer.gif]

Playing an instrument in many respects is like driving a car, you need to anticipate and plan ahead. Start with a tune you know well but take it at half speed, or even slower; before you start playing go thru the first measure in your head. Apart from establishing the tempo you're also focusing all your attention on what you're about to play. Either hum or whistle the tune as you play and start trying to read one note ahead. It takes practise, but stick with it.

Also, I would try to relax before starting to play and keep a check on tension as you play. I've been asked about this previously and sometime over the next couple of weeks I'll put a message on these topics in Music and Learning.

Nice man. In my opinion, if there was one lesson from BBG that is a must to be memorized and played, it's this one. I have a couple songs that I always use this as an intro for when I'm playing just to add more of a blues country pickin' feel to it. Great job!!
