One more posted "before it's time" as it were. I sound like a broken record on these but once again I posted something to keep progressing rather than wait until I got it "right". On this one I totally blow the last B7 chord among other things but I'm feeling bogged down lately so I'll go with it.

I was thinking when I reach the end of the course I may go back and re-record these lessons to have an A to B comparison. Might be interesting, I know that some of the things I had troubles with early on I do without thinking now, so that helps when I'm struggling with, say, a B7 chord(!) these days.  ;)

I could have used a little less gain here too. I'm recording with no monitor on since my wife's in bed and I can't hear what it sounds like until after the fact.

Warmoth Strat, Vox VT15 on AC30 with no reverb or effects, gain turned up a tad too high, bridge and middle pickups. (Fender CS Fat 50's)

Must say I took my first look at 'Hideaway Blues' and 'Little Mary's Lamb' this arvo... Hideaway blues looks a bit intimidating; some really tricky timing in it; but I'm slowly getting the hang of it... 'Little Mary's Lamb', on the other hand, seems a lot easier. Let's see... it's Wednesday today; that leaves tomorrow and Friday to practice and record and post on Saturday for the weekend... (at least, that's 'Plan 'A''!)

Nice stuff Desmo! Yeah there was a lot of gain, but it was a nice change of pace. I had planned on doing the A-B comparison but now as I progress I'm too lazy to go back and record them all. Looking forward the next one. These are 2 you'll remember and play for the rest of your life!
