Please list your FIXIT request in this thread or create a new thread in the AAP Live Session Discussion section.
If you create a new thread, make sure to put FIXIT in the thread title so it can easily be found. Thanks!
This list is for Griff's reference during the live webinar.

Early bird etc.... Well, haven't done this in a while and there are several caveats to this post but suffice to say, I just didn't post it during the Hotel California AAP. However, two things to note; 1) The backing track is me with the rhythm (guitar chords only into my looper). And, B) I chose to solo trying to follow the melody kinda like a singer (emphasis on "kinda"), using the chord scales where I could recognize them, per Griff's suggestion in one of the sessions. I called it raw because that's how it sounds to me.

"Queeks Draw, I theen...", And away we go Boba Looey...

So Griff, did I get the chord scales close? Especially since I stayed in the same position on the neck. That's what I'm most interested in. Thanks!

Posting this way early to be sure that I don't forget to get it done.

I tried to, as the maestro has encouraged us to do, "use my big ears" and learn and transcribe the solo from the unplugged version of Little Wing as done by The Corrs in like 1999. I skipped the slide part, and just went for the rest which totaled about 10 bars. I've got my tab attached for review as well as my version and the version by The Corrs linked below (linked to the the solo section so you don't have to sit through the whole song).

The tab: Does it even look close to what it should sound like or what I am playing? I've got that 2/4 bar stuck towards the end because otherwise it felt like the timing got thrown off of 4/4 there in that measure. Adding that 2/4 bar kept the downbeat on the downbeat. Maybe I screwed up the timing somewhere else? I had started work on this prior to the rhythm transcription AAP, so most of it was just a struggle. Although, truth to tell, I would have struggled through the rhythm transcription of it just as much as I did putting down a measure of notes and then trying to slowly count out where they went. I, also, took the chance to do the notation first and then correct the tab to the right string. Figured it's been long enough since I had to sight read that this would be good practice for that too.

My version of just the solo. Got the looper going and then had to wait for it to come back around because it has pick-up notes in it. So the solo actually starts at about 1:00. In retrospect, I feel like I'm rushing the solo.
What it's supposed to sound like. I couldn't get it to link to the right spot, but the solo starts about 3:14.

Just some general hints/ideas and or feedback on this song maybe ... I'm sitting in the middle channel on guitar also do vocals between 30 secs and 1:30 in then I take solo.

I know it sounds busy because theres already a top gun guitar player in here but I'm trying to not overdo it and not screw up too much. Fun fun song ...

My attempt at Juke Joint Shuffle from 5 Easy Blues Solos. I tried to follow your advice from last month.
Learnt it, practised it at 1.25x speed, then recorded it at 1x speed.
there are still mistakes, but it definitely made a difference!

Here's my continuing adventure with learning slide and Statesboro Blues. This time it's up to speed and includes the complete tune. I combined two different takes as one had a better intro and the other a better middle and ending.

The intro is pretty much but not exactly as performed by the Allman Bros. Band. The rest is improvised. My next task is to learn Duane's fills and solos but this will suffice for now. All in all, I'm fairly pleased.

Banana Phil from Five Easy Blues Songs at about 80% Tempo.
Two tracks recorded by me; both rhythm and lead parts.
Shout portion with two guitars at same time is a bit messy. The rest I am and on and off with the exact beat but felt okay with the overall feel.
Thanks, Marc V

making guitars wish they were still trees
Just found out I'm most likely not going to be able to make the session this week. Since the tab is the big part of my submission, I'm attaching it here to be sure that it doesn't get missed in my original thread.
