Finding Notes on Your Guitar

    I was having trouble quickly locating the positions of the notes that appear on the fretboard chart on page 27. To simplify things, I made 12 different charts like the one below; one for C, one for G, one for D, etc.

    These would work well withs Griff's method of learning the fretboard.

    That was the idea. It's the same information, just in a less-cluttered format.

    As an option, you can post the PDF on 4shared, same as we do our recordings.  Then everyone can download it from there...

    Now where have I seen that before ?  Oh yeah someone posted this about notes & the CAGED system of finding them ... wonder who that was ?  ::)

    Do you have a link to the post about the CAGED system? Being a newbie, I've never heard of it.   :-?

    I'll see if I can find it Mark , it was sometime ago , however , from the above post of mine we are in C & the numbers above refer to 1 = C , 2 = A , 3 = G , 4 = E & 5 = D shapes you can begin that on any note & then follow it along.
