I think I now know what John Lennon played in his rhythm part on Dr. Robert, it sounds so much like Example 2.2 (The IV Chord Move)  Play this on a Casino

At least now I have a starting point to figure it out.

2.4 takes this a little further with an additional voicing for the C. It starts sounding a lot like AC-DC "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution".

I like in this course how Griff introduces new elements, then integrates them into what was previously presented, in a very incremental way.
