I'm liking this course! It's fun to hear the way Griff uses the same notes (scale) for the different genres (blues/rock) and gets different sounding solos. Fun stuff!
One of the things I really like about this course is that the solos are only 24 bars - more than enough of a challenge for these old fingers and brain to learn.

Funny you mentioned tone, MM…Rock has always intimidated me, primarily because of the overdriven tones (and shredding). I bought the new Boss Katana amp recently and it has all kinds of “tones” in there. I just started playing with them, but this recording just uses Garageband amps/effects. I can see where people go a little crazy with pedals and chasing tone. It’s fun!
