Hey

Simple answer Yes you can

The Boss ME-80 is very versatile

I have 3 acoustic guitars so I program 3 different banks to get the sound I like

easy to program - no menus - just dial it in and save settings

I found that the 2 amps settings Clean Or AC work best for acoustic than equalize and such

for electrics it will scream - oh it also depends on your amp

also has a built in noise gate you can program

I don;t know how it will sound with small amps - I push a 100 watt Marshall MG solid state head with 4 x 12 cab and have to ability to mic if needed

Go for it

Oh forgot to say with my acoustics I also run them thru a Bob Weir Pigtroniz peddle then thru the board but that;s just my preference

hope this helps

Peace

Well.................I am in the hate it camp

I thought the sounds were a little too electronic (only word In can use). Now to be fair, I have used better quality units before I used this one, so that could be it. They always state "It sounds just like the actual pedal" I never thought so.

I had originally bought it just to use at a blues jam but never bothered after playing with it. I did though find a good used VOX Tonelab ex that I actually do like and it will be going with me. Maybe their advertising is correct, with the tube in the unit makes all the difference.

I have heard that some heavy rock bands do use the ME80 for vocals
