Looks like that was a pretty cool site when it was up. I kinda wish I would've come across it back when it was active. All the links in the sidebar would've been worth a few visits on their own. Looks like the last capture The Wayback Machine has for it was May of 2016. Here's a link to that one if you're interested.

Love Ron Carter's work. Sadly, it seems to have gone either unnoticed or something, Wayne Shorter died in February. He, along with Carter, was one of the very best - the soprano never sounded better.

Just found this thread and thank you Mike for establishing it and to Larry for starting it.
When I was ten (1952) Josh White was on a local (San Francisco) television program. His music interested me. Piedmont Blues is a different flavor of the Blues.
