BGU Bonus Material: Turnarounds & Ending licks

...forgive my abuse of the record and post system, but I just finished playing through (and recording) the 20 Turnaround & Endings. They're cool little licks and some of my favorite part of the blues! I thought it would take a couple of hours...more like a couple of weeks!
If you're interested in hearing 20 licks (2:38 seconds worth!) strung together...

Turnarounds & Endings

Thanks jmin, a bluesman's toolbox expertly played. Thanks for posting and reminding me I need to get into those as well. I just wish I could remember a couple. It is one of those things that makes us a better player to have a nice variety of tasty intro's, turnarounds and outro's.
Just so much to learn and so little time..

It makes me happpy to play The Blues!
Very nice job Jim! :)

I like to create arrangements of the many different types of music I play, and have been doing so for more than 50 years. When it comes to the Blues, Intros, Turnarouds and Outros add so much to the music.

You can take a simple 12 bar Blues, and add an Intro, and Outro. Then add an additional 12 bars to the original 12, and add a turnaround. I look at the turnaround as a means of introducing the next 12 bars.
