BGU 2.0 7-1 RECORDING

Attempting the Blues
Somethings not quite right. About halfway through it starts sounding minor instead of major, like one finger is one fret off. It's late but I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.

Maybe compare your recording to the lesson recording.

The rhythm is fine.

Thanks David. I went back and listened to it and I can't hear any problems other than my sloppy chord changes and just technique stuff. I do catch myself sometimes not muting the unwanted strings enough and perhaps that's what your hearing. The rhythm of it is my biggest concern so I'm glad to hear that you found it to be in time. Thanks for the input.

I THINK what I am hearing is the first C sounds fine. Then later on the C and D maybe the 3rd string is getting bent or pushed too hard and pulled a little sharp. It just sounds a little off compared to the first C.

But the main point of the lesson is those slide licks which you got right in time. Did you notice in the last measure the tab, standard notation, and chord all were different? I think the chord symbol (G9 on the first 4 strings) is what was intended.
