I hear you, brother. Just trying to be open to the forms that anger can take. I get it.

What a tragedy. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed.
I saw some earlier posts that a couple of other guys, I think it was Dennard and Joe Abrams, had contracted the virus. Any word on how they are doing?
That was amazing. I had to leave early and missed that. He was right in the pocket with a couple pros. He could also play a mean guitar. There was so much pure joy on the stage for that set. It will forever be one of my favorite memories.
Me too. I was there. I don't remember exact words, but Steve told me playing drums with Griff was on his bucket listThere was so much pure joy on the stage for that set. It will forever be one of my favorite memories.
Thanks for the update.Dennard didn't have the virus, but Joe and his wife did. Both are recovering. See here: https://bluesguitarunleashed.com/fo...es-for-big-rig-steve.30452/page-2#post-407130
Just checked the donations for Steve's burial and memorial. Only 3K raised so far. Come on Boyz...we can do much better than that!! Try to dig a little deeper to make sure that he has a proper burial and memorial....There's a GoFundMe set up if anyone wishes to contribute towards his memorial.

Seems like "A Few Good Years" might befome a recurring song at BGU events for Chuck, Olivia, and Steve. A lot of our cohort are in the same demographic.I am not sure that this appropriate. But, 9 months ago our group did this tribute song for our very dear friend Chuck Fleming by Buddy Guy called "A few good years". Steve was gracious enough to play the drums for us. And yet it seems ironic that Steve stepped up to do this song with us...
